For a bracelet, decide whether the words should be public and wearable. A name, initials or short English-letter message is easier to prepare than a design that depends on symbols the engraving control does not accept. The size is part of the personalised order too; proofread both together.
For a name clock, choose the existing bicycle or MTB design because that outline suits the recipient. For a photo-based clock, choose an image with a clear subject rather than expecting every fine background detail to survive as a cut shape. It is artwork derived from a photo, not a printed photograph on a record.
Write down the exact final text, inspect the source image and review the product option before submitting. Correctly supplied personalised goods are not normally returnable simply because the buyer changes their mind or supplied the wrong wording or size. For the photo clock, favour a recognisable subject and a clear outline. The artwork is adapted for cutting, so a busy scene with tiny background details asks more of the format than a simple bike portrait. The listed 2–5 additional production days are separate from shipping.
Read the final wording aloud, check each character against the original, and confirm the selected size or lighting option once more. That last review is useful because a personalised item made correctly to the supplied details has different change-of-mind return conditions.

Engraving: fit and spelling come first
On the Silver Personalised ID Bike Chain Bracelet – 10mm, select the bracelet length and use the engraving control. The current instructions allow English letters, numbers and spaces; avoid emojis and special symbols and follow the displayed character limit.
Use a concise message that will still mean something when read out of context: a name, a date or a few words connected with a ride. Check the exact spelling and capitalisation. Do not assume every bracelet has an engraving area or the same text limit. Confirm the size before committing to personalised production.
Existing design or a new image?
The named bicycle and MTB clocks add your wording to the existing design. Example names in photos show the personalisation area; they do not mean the whole silhouette can be replaced. Keep longer wording concise and ask before ordering if you are unsure how it will fit.
For a different image, the custom photo vinyl clock accepts one clear, high-resolution JPG or PNG, up to 10MB, uploaded on the product page before adding to the basket. Cycolinks adapts the photograph for cut-vinyl artwork. It is not a printed photographic reproduction, so choose a clear, recognisable subject. The listing asks for 2–5 additional days for custom production.
Check the finished gift, not just the message
A personalised clock still needs the right place and power. The custom photo clock is approximately 30cm in diameter, with an AA-powered movement; the battery is not included. Optional LED lighting uses mains power, and the current LED option has a UK plug. Check socket compatibility.
